In recent work I have been using an exploratory printmaking process, applying caustic soda to etch traditional lino then working into the surface with carving tools, wire brushes and needles. This breaks up the surface layers resulting in unusually varied printed marks and imagery that is unsettled, playful and full of dappled movement.

You can read more about my experiments in my blog.
